General Dreamstreet Lending information
We are one of Australia’s leading financial institutions and have been operating in the Victorian community for 30 years. We assess, approve and manage your loan from start to finish.
Dreamstreet is a private business with no big shareholders taking from the profits. We're a family-like business. The owner is John Hronis. John started this business because he felt there had to be a way to be of better service to people for their banking, and was personally fed up with hanging on answering machines for hours with other banks. Dreamstreet was created to cut out the wastage in the whole process and to add more into the customer experience. John is passionate about offer real savings and real customer service to our community.
Dreamstreet, with John at the helm, is very active in the local community and a big supporter of sports and trades in Victoria in particular. We're a down-to-earth business that cares about people and the community.

We operate in Victoria, Australia. Please call us on 1300 230 240 to book an appointment and one of our Mortgage Consultants will come to you. We don't have physical offices because we come to you when and where it suits you. This is all a big part in us providing you with big savings and big customer service.

We offer a variety of home loans that are flexible, depending on your individual situation. Currently the highest interest rate on a new home loan or refinance is 9.85% per annum. The majority of our client are offered an interest rate much lower than this, however if you have experienced credit issues such as bankruptcy this can affect the rate that is offered to you.

The main way that we offer great savings to our clients, all without cutting back on customer service, is due to the fact we don't have massive shareholders who want to take from the profits, and we don't have bricks and mortar buildings that add to the overheads. We are more concerned with our customers cutting the costs of their total loan or loans, rather than fixated on published interest rates (which can be a bit of smoke and mirrors too).

If all documents are provided that are needed we are able to give you an indicative answer in 24 hours and aim for approval in 4 working days providing we have all the right documentation.
The information may vary but minimum requirements are 100 Points of ID, Income verification, savings statements showing your deposit savings and a credit report must be done. Your personal mortgage consultant will let you know what is needed in your situation.
In general you will need to demonstrate that you have saved 5% of the purchase price. At Dreamstreet Lending we offer Gap Finance that can assist you to purchase a home with no deposit.
This varies from state to state however you can obtain this information from the State Revenue Office website.
It can make things harder but it is not impossible.
Refinance and Investor Loans
Our Mortgage Consultant will sit with you to ascertain your current position and will provide you with the best option for you. The good thing is that Dreamstreet is able to tailor loans to our client's individual needs and don't try and force you into off-the-shelf products.
You will need at least a 10% deposit OR equity in your home.
Our Mortgage Consultants will come to you for the appointment, making it easy and seamless for you. You also will never experience a recorded phone answering service during business hours, and a real person will be dedicated to you like your own personal bank manager.
